This toy is amazing. It is well made and sturdy. However the reason for the rating is how my cat rates it. She plays with it all the time and has taken to even sleeping on it, or at least with one paw on it. For her this is the best toy ever.

While the quality seems excellent and the valerian quite strong, my cat has had no interest other than to run away from it, just like she does catnip. I don’t leave it laying out because it is so strong, and valerian is really stinky, but hoped she would play with it or sleep on it and then I could put it away. Sadly, she doesn’t. It’s not the product, but not a match for our cat.
