Some cats do not respond to Silvervine.
The smell of Silvervine will gradually fade away after opening the sealed package.
Although all Neko Kicker are made by using strong canvas fabric, if your cat is a biter, Neko Kicker might get worn out quicker.
Your cat might show strong responses to the silvervine such as kicking and chewing excessively in the first few minutes; however, he/she will calm down within 10 minutes or so.

We had a green fish, which is really cute. Obviously my cats don’t care what their toys look like, but I quite like their toys to look cute. 🙂
One of my cats was trying to get the toy out of the wrapper herself, as soon as I took the toy out of my bag.
This is the first time we’ve had a Silvervine toy for the cats, so didn’t know what to expect of it. It does have a smell to it if like us, you smell the toy close up (I know it’s weird, but it’s a habit we’ve developed with catnip toys. Our cats only play with good quality catnip, which always has a stronger smell – like that used in the 4 Cats toys), but it’s not like valerian, which I think is an unpleasant smell. The fabric of the toy looks and feels like it’s a good quality, as well as looking good.
The most important thing is my cats LOVED the toy immediately. In fact we did see a few little squabbles, where more than one of the cats wanted the toy at the same time. Despite there being plenty of other popular toys around to play with. They loved to bite this toy, lick it, rub on it, wrestle with it and kick at it. It seemed to be loads of fun for them, so I think they’d rate it 5 stars.

I’ve bought several of these fish toys, first for my late boy and then for my new cats. Monkey takes a polite interest in the toy and seems to find the scent relaxing, but Romeo goes crazy for it! When I unwrapped a new one upstairs, he smelt it as soon as he came into the house downstairs and went hunting until he found it! He loves to alternate between fighting/kicking it and licking it lovingly. He often sleeps with it as a pillow. The fish shape is handy because the tail is like a little handle that a human can hold to waggle the toy and play tug o’ war. The only downside is that the silvervine fades over time – the toy is still interesting, but doesn’t excite the cats as it did when new.
